Montreal is set to welcome back the Exclam festival, a festivity of Francophone humor, from May 17 to 24. After a year’s hiatus, the festival promises a vibrant return with a diverse lineup of comedic talent.

Approximately forty artists will grace the stage,including Quebecois favorites such as Mehdi Bousaidan,Rachid Badouri,Mona de Grenoble,Korine Côté,Anas Hassouna,and Oussama Fares. the festival will also feature comedians from various continents, showcasing the breadth of Francophone comedic styles.

The festival’s program, featuring 15 unique shows, will commence with Babel, an evening hosted by Mehdi Bousaidan. Adding an international twist, South korean comedian Danny Cho will perform a set with simultaneous translation.

Exclam will also host the semi-finals for Africa, America, and Europe in the international competition, La Relève par Montreux. These three evenings will be animated by Moroccan comedian Oualas,Korine Côté,and Belgian comedian Alex Vizorek,respectively. Mona de Grenoble will host the grand finale of this competition on may 24.
