Melania Trump Breaks Silence: Rare Video Raises Questions About Donald Trump’s Alleged Assassination Plot
Melania Trump Demands Answers on Husband’s Assassination Plot
Former First Lady Melania Trump has released a rare video questioning the law enforcement agencies’ handling of the near assassination attempt on her husband, Donald Trump.
In the 30-second video posted on her X account, Melania expressed her concerns about the incident, stating, “Trying to end my husband’s life was a horrific, traumatic experience. Right now, the silence around it feels heavy.”
Melania also raised questions about the effectiveness of law enforcement, asking, “Why didn’t law enforcement arrest the shooter before the speech? There must be more to this story, and we need to uncover the truth.”
The video marks one of the few times Melania has publicly addressed the assassination plot against her husband at a July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Following the shooting, Melania issued a statement thanking law enforcement for protecting Trump. She recalled the moment the bullet struck her husband, saying, “When I saw that powerful bullet strike my husband, Donald, I realized that my life and Barron’s were on the verge of devastating change.”
Melania also expressed gratitude to the brave agents and law enforcement officers who risked their lives to protect her husband.
The July 13 shooting is currently under investigation by multiple law enforcement agencies, who are still trying to determine how the 20-year-old gunman, Thomas Matthew Crooks, eluded security and opened fire on Trump from the rooftop of a crowded campaign rally.
Melania’s latest comments come as Trump prepares to face off against Vice President Kamala Harris in the first presidential debate in Philadelphia, where the July 13 shooting is expected to be raised on the debate stage.
