Argentine President Javier Milei and Italian prime Minister Giorgia Meloni met in Rome on Friday, reinforcing their roles as key allies. This marks their sixth meeting, solidifying a growing bond between the two leaders who share similar political views and a friendship with figures like donald Trump and elon Musk. The meeting occurred as Milei began a nine-day international tour.
Milei’s European trip includes a visit with Pope Leo XIV. This meeting is of particular interest, given their differing ideological stances. Following his visit in Rome, Milei is scheduled to travel to Spain, France, and Israel, with a controversial return to Spain planned for later in June.
