Menofia Drinking Water Company issued a statement on Tuesday evening, denying the contamination of water in public networks in various governorate centers, confirming that what is being reported on social media platforms is not true.
He said, noting what is being reported on social media pages about the contamination of drinking water and citizens not using water from the governorate’s public network, Menofia urged citizens including the Water and Sanitation Company not to be affected by these. Malicious rumors aimed at destabilizing the security and stability of the country.
He stressed that all the company’s stations are working in good condition as per standard operating instructions and water is sampled and purified by the company’s laboratories and health laboratories to ensure that there are no drinking water quality issues in the governorate to ensure water safety, suitability for drinking and Compliance with quality standards.
