The Case of‍ Karim Selim: A Serial Killer’s Horrific Crimes

The⁢ case of ⁣Karim Selim, known in ⁢the media as the “Thug of​ the Assembly”, has resurfaced after ⁢his ⁤horrific crime shocked Egyptian streets a few months ‍ago.

Death Sentence for the Serial Killer

After the Cairo‌ Criminal Court​ sentenced Salim to death by hanging, referring his papers to the Mufti of ​the Republic for a legal opinion on ⁤his execution, Cairo Criminal ‍Court President Counselor Yasir Al-Ahmadawi stated that they couldn’t find a way to pity him or take pity‍ on him.

Al-Ahmadawi said that the accused was aware ‌of his ​actions and had awareness, discrimination, and⁢ perception while committing the ‍crime, adding that he preserved his senses and​ awareness and committed the crime without suffering from any​ mental or emotional disorder.

He advised parents to ​protect ‌their daughters and sons, stressing that good‌ education and corrections ‌are the ‌means to prevent such crimes which are ⁤foreign to Egyptian⁢ society.

The ⁢Crimes of ‌Karim Selim

The accused was found ⁤guilty ‌of killing 3 women after ⁣having sex with them before and after their death and taking video clips of them‍ during intercourse.

During⁣ the investigation, it was revealed that he dumped the bodies of the women in the deserts of Port Said and Ismailia and consumed various‌ drugs and forced his victims to take them ⁢too.

The investigation also revealed that he shot about 300 video clips of himself and his victims on their mobile phones while he was raping them, ‌drugging them, as well ⁢as killing and torturing the women in gruesome ways and‍ having sex with their dead bodies hours later.

Accomplice Sentenced⁣ to 10 Years in Prison

A few⁣ days‌ ago, the court also handed ⁢down a 10-year prison sentence against​ the accomplice of the “mass killer”, Hanan, known as⁤ “Um Shahd”, who used to bring him his victims, after it was proved ​that he was involved in ⁤human trafficking ⁣charges, including his daughter, “Shahd” and the accused were offered‌ others.
