A young fan learned a tough lesson after his attempt to get close to Lionel Messi at a youth soccer event backfired.ramsey Khatri, 18, was ejected from Inter Miami Stadium on may 25 after breaching security to approach the soccer star.
Fort Lauderdale Police Department body camera footage shows officers questioning Khatri following the incident. The police questioned why Khatri called 911 after stadium security removed him from the field.

According to police, Khatri said he just loves Messi and didn’t think anything bad would happen. The officer responded, “You ran after Messi, this happens to you, and you call the police? Come on, man.”
The officer expressed disbelief that Khatri would call the police after being apprehended by security. He added, “You see videos online. You’re a fan,bro. You no how it goes.”
Khatri was issued a trespass warning and was unable to retrieve his hat and glasses after the incident. He reported minor wrist and neck pain but declined medical transport.
Ultimately, the officer released Khatri, stating that stadium security would handle the matter.
