Meta AI has released new video editing features accessible on the Meta.ai website and the Editz app. The AI video editing tools are available in more than 10 countries, including the United States. Users can upload videos and experiment with over 50 editing prompts to convert 10 seconds of video for free.
Meta suggests using prompts to create videos with unique aesthetics, such as adding shiny lighting and a dreamy atmosphere to a rainy day scene, or converting footage into vintage cartoon styles, graphic novels, or video game themes. The AI video editing tools are designed to provide creative options for users.
Edited videos can be shared directly on Facebook and Instagram via the Meta AI app and Editz app. The Meta.ai website allows users to post content with Discover Feed. meta stated that these tools offer new creative avenues for creators to experiment and share engaging videos with their networks.
The new feature builds upon Meta’s previous AI media technology, including the ‘Make-A-Scene’ model and ‘Movie Gen,’ introduced in 2022.
