The “Cultural Tourism·Cloud Restaurant” University Dongdao Intelligent Restaurant, which opened on July 16, features intelligent catering robots that can cook a variety of dishes, including Sichuan-style twice-cooked pork and Kung Pao chicken. The restaurant’s self-service ordering, intelligent cooking, unmanned sales, and smart settlement system have revolutionized the traditional catering service model.

The State Grid Tangshan Power Supply Company has introduced “robot dogs” to carry out inspections in the 220 kV Junrui substation. These robots are equipped with infrared thermometers, high-definition cameras, navigation laser radars, gas monitors, obstacle avoidance sensors, and intercom systems. They can easily navigate slopes, grass, and gravel roads, and automatically record and issue alarms when faults are detected.

New varieties, such as bathing assistance robots, have been developed to assist the elderly with limited mobility. These robots can safely move the elderly into bathtubs and monitor their vital signs during the bathing process.
