Metallica Announces Las Vegas Residency at Sphere, ‘Life Burns Faster’
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Metallica is bringing its high-octane live show to the Sphere in Las Vegas this fall with a new residency titled “Life Burns Faster.” The band announced the eight-show engagement on Wednesday, .
The residency will feature a unique concert format, continuing the band’s “No Repeat Weekend” tradition. According to a press release, no songs will be repeated on Thursday and Saturday performances throughout the run. This promises a distinct experience for fans attending multiple shows.

The Sphere, which opened in 2023, has quickly become a premier venue for large-scale musical performances. U2 completed a successful 40-date residency at the venue in 2023 and 2024, grossing $244.5 million, demonstrating the potential for artists to connect with fans in a new and immersive way.
