Meyer Shank Racing Lands SiriusXM, REMAX Sponsorships for 2024 INDYCAR Season
ST. PETERSBURG, FL – Meyer Shank Racing (MSR) is gearing up for the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg with a fresh set of partnerships and striking new liveries for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES season opener.
The team announced a continued collaboration with SiriusXM, expanding their history of spotlighting the satellite radio provider’s music and entertainment channels through visually dynamic car designs. This year, Felix Rosenqvist’s No. 60 Honda will feature a special livery honoring Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the iconic band. The Tom Petty Radio (SiriusXM channel 31) scheme will also be showcased at the Good Ranchers 250 at Phoenix Raceway.
Tom Petty Radio offers fans access to the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer’s extensive catalog, including exclusive tracks from his personal archives and selections from his celebrated “Buried Treasure” radio show. MSR and SiriusXM have previously collaborated on liveries featuring Metallica and The Grateful Dead, demonstrating a commitment to integrating music culture into the world of INDYCAR racing.
Alongside the SiriusXM partnership, MSR welcomes real estate leader REMAX as a new sponsor. The REMAX branding will be prominently displayed across both of MSR’s full-time INDYCAR entries – the No. 60 Honda piloted by Rosenqvist and the No. 66 Honda driven by Marcus Armstrong. REMAX will also have a presence on Helio Castroneves’ No. 06 Honda during the Indianapolis 500, “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.”
Armstrong’s No. 66 Honda will sport a dedicated REMAX livery at two key events later in the season: the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach () and the Borchetta Bourbon Music City Grand Prix ().
This multi-faceted sponsorship strategy underscores Meyer Shank Racing’s growing appeal to both traditional motorsports fans and a broader audience interested in the intersection of racing and entertainment. The team’s ability to attract partners like SiriusXM and REMAX speaks to its increasing profile within the NTT INDYCAR SERIES paddock.
The Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg is set to begin at noon on , with live coverage available on FOX, FOX One, FOX Deportes, the FOX Sports app, and the INDYCAR Radio Network.
The announcement builds on SiriusXM’s existing commitment to INDYCAR, having previously announced plans to broadcast live coverage of every race in the season, starting with the St. Petersburg Grand Prix. SiriusXM’s coverage is available on channel 218 for car radio listeners and through the SiriusXM app.
The partnership with SiriusXM extends beyond simple broadcasting. In , Jon Bon Jovi made a special appearance at the St. Petersburg race, and Felix Rosenqvist’s No. 60 Honda featured the logo of SiriusXM’s exclusive Bon Jovi Radio channel. The channel also featured Bon Jovi’s new single, “Legendary,” during the race broadcast.
Meyer Shank Racing’s continued collaboration with SiriusXM and the addition of REMAX represent a significant boost for the team as it prepares to compete for a championship in the upcoming season. The visually striking liveries and expanded broadcast coverage are designed to enhance the fan experience and further elevate the profile of INDYCAR racing.
