The Partnership: Aims and Objectives
MGIMO and the TV BRICS International Media Network have joined forces to promote the opportunities of Russian education abroad and to strengthen international relations. The cooperation agreement was signed by MGIMO Rector, Academician Anatoly Torkunov, and Ivan Polyakov, Chairman of TV BRICS.
The partners plan to implement joint information projects, promote the results of scientific research and educational and cultural-educational programmes of MGIMO, hold academic conferences, and enhance interaction between professional and expert communities.A key focus will be on promoting the Russian language and Russian education internationally. This collaboration aims to improve international relations and bolster the foreign policy positions of Russia and other BRICS member and partner countries.
