Miaoli Residents Take a Stand: Last Bus to Hsinchu Departs as Protesters Occupy EGE

Hsinchu Passenger ⁤Transport Withdraws from Miaoli Area Routes

Hsinchu Passenger Transport will cease operations in the Miaoli area ​starting today, September 16th. Over 30 people from Tongluo Township, Miaoli County,⁢ gathered at‌ the ‌train station to⁤ commemorate the occasion by taking the Hsinchu ⁣Passenger ‌Bus 5658 together.

The event, “Let’s ⁢Commemorate ‌a Hsinchu Passenger Bus,” was organized by Xu ‍Yufeng, representative of Tongluo Village in Miaoli County. The goal was to bring the community together to bid farewell to the Hsinchu Passenger Transport ⁤route, which has ‍been ⁤in operation for many years.

Xu Yufeng shared that⁢ taking the Hsinchu Passenger⁣ Bus is a cherished memory for many people, and it has ​played a significant​ role ⁣in their lives. He encouraged the public to join in and take the bus together on its⁤ last day ​of operation.

The event ‍saw a diverse group of ​people, ranging⁣ from kindergarten children to 90-year-old grandparents, come together to take the bus. One participant, ‌Mr. Xu, even brought his⁢ well-preserved Hsinchu passenger bus monthly⁣ pass from high school, which added a touching moment to the occasion.

The Hsinchu City Supervision Station announced ⁣that Hsinchu Passenger Transport would ‌stop operating passenger transport routes in ⁢the Miaoli area, causing inconvenience to people traveling between Hsinchu and Miaoli. However,⁤ Yaji Company will take over the ‍routes, ensuring minimal disruption to commuters.

Starting ⁤today, Yaji ⁤Company will ‍operate 10‍ routes previously managed by Hsinchu Passenger Transport. The driving ‍route and stops will remain the same as the original Hsinchu passenger transport route, providing a seamless transition for passengers.

Yijie Company operates 10 routes of ⁤Hsinchu Passenger Transport and driving routes and stops are the same as Hsinchu Passenger Transport.
