What is Mico?
Mico (pronounced MEE-koh) is a floating, cartoon-like face-described as blob or flame-shaped-that serves as the visual embodiment of Microsoft’s Copilot AI assistant. Unlike a text-based chatbot, Mico is designed to be more personable and expressive, changing colors, spinning, and even wearing glasses when in “study” mode.
Currently, Mico is available to Copilot users on laptops and through the phone app in the United States. Microsoft has not yet announced plans for wider availability.
The Return of the AI Companion
