On the afternoon of September 14, Yongzhou City held a video conference on safety precautions during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays. Liu Hou, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor, attended the conference and delivered a speech.
Liu Hou emphasized the importance of creating a safe and peaceful festival atmosphere for the people of the city. He stressed that all levels and departments of the city should tighten the safety production string, strengthen risk awareness and bottom-line thinking, and take practical and effective measures to prevent safety risks during the “two festivals”.
Liu Hou also highlighted the need to scientifically analyze and deploy safety measures, strengthen monitoring and early warning, and prevent the 13th typhoon “Bebejia”. He emphasized the importance of strengthening supervision and inspection, and implementing safety control measures such as road traffic, cultural tourism, fire protection, and gas.
The conference also focused on key areas such as construction, industry and trade, and special equipment, implementing a “comprehensive” safety production risk hazard investigation, and resolutely preventing major safety risks. Additionally, the conference emphasized the need to strictly control outdoor fire sources, strengthen fire monitoring, and completely prevent forest fires.
The Yongzhou Municipal Safety Committee Office reported on the safety production situation, and Qiyang, Lingling, Ningyuan, Lanshan and relevant municipal departments made work arrangements. The conference aimed to ensure the safety of people’s lives and property and social stability during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays.
