DETROIT — The National college Showcase, presented by Sound Mind Sound Body, returned to wayne State University over the weekend, drawing top college football prospects and recruiters alike. The event provided a platform for players to display their skills and connect with college programs.
Austin Cole, a four-star tight end from Illinois, has seen his recruitment heat up. He recently received offers from Florida State, arkansas, Maryland, and Minnesota. Despite recovering from an ankle injury,his potential is clear. Michigan and Ohio State are also in contact, hoping to secure an offer.
Michigan, Wisconsin, and Michigan State are actively recruiting Demoss. He has visited each campus this spring,impressed by the energy at practices and the players’ size.His relationship with Wolverines coach Sherrone Moore gives Michigan an early edge, especially given their recent success recruiting in Chicago.
Guerrant stood out as the top offensive player at Sunday’s showcase. The smooth route runner didn’t drop a single pass. he plans to visit Ohio State, Texas A&M, Oregon, Penn state, and tennessee this summer. However, Ohio State remains a strong contender, aligning with his desire for a school that develops NFL talent and boasts a winning tradition.
Injaychock, recently offered by NC State and Northwestern, is prioritizing those programs. He has visited Northwestern twice this spring, developing a strong relationship with the offensive line coach.
