Ex-Director Calls for Investigation into Massachusetts Migrant Shelter Abuse
A former director of a Massachusetts immigrant shelter is urging Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Department of Justice to investigate what he describes as a “disturbing pattern” of criminal activity within the state’s migrant shelter system. Jon Fetherston, who previously headed a shelter in marlborough, Massachusetts, alleges widespread sexual assaults, financial abuse, and deliberate cover-ups.
Fetherston first raised concerns after discovering that Ronald Joseph, a Haitian migrant residing in his shelter, had repeatedly raped his 13-year-old daughter. Despite this, Joseph was not immediately arrested. Fetherston claims he was instructed to arrange a ride for Joseph to another shelter.
