Mike “The ​Situation” Sorrentino‌ of ‌ Jersey Shore fame has weighed in on Todd and⁣ Julie Chrisley’s early release from prison. Sorrentino, who served time for tax evasion, expressed support for the decision, citing the impact on their family.

Sorrentino,42,told TMZ that he could “definitely relate” to the Chrisleys’ situation,having⁢ spent eight months in‌ prison for tax evasion. He ​added that he ⁣also‍ completed two years of probation and 500 hours of community service. He stated, “For them to​ get released early, for me, that is good for the families.”

Todd, 56, and Julie, 52, had been ⁢convicted on charges including tax evasion, bank fraud, and conspiracy. their sentences were later reduced, ​and they were released Wednesday after a pardon.

Savannah ⁢Chrisley told reporters that her ⁤parents had not seen or spoken to each other in over two​ years. She added that the family planned to ⁣celebrate missed birthdays, anniversaries, and ‌holidays.

Sorrentino acknowledged potential‌ outrage over‌ the chrisleys’ early ⁢release but emphasized the importance of family ‌reunification. He noted ⁢that he “woudl have accepted” a pardon if offered and that his own prison sentence was detrimental to his family.

The chrisleys’ legal troubles stemmed from a 2019 indictment on charges of tax evasion, bank and wire fraud, and conspiracy. ‍They maintained their innocence throughout the process.
