Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino of Jersey Shore fame has weighed in on Todd and Julie Chrisley’s early release from prison. Sorrentino, who served time for tax evasion, expressed support for the decision, citing the impact on their family.
Sorrentino,42,told TMZ that he could “definitely relate” to the Chrisleys’ situation,having spent eight months in prison for tax evasion. He added that he also completed two years of probation and 500 hours of community service. He stated, “For them to get released early, for me, that is good for the families.”
Todd, 56, and Julie, 52, had been convicted on charges including tax evasion, bank fraud, and conspiracy. their sentences were later reduced, and they were released Wednesday after a pardon.

Savannah Chrisley told reporters that her parents had not seen or spoken to each other in over two years. She added that the family planned to celebrate missed birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays.
