Competition will span alpine skiing, biathlon, cross-country skiing, curling, freestyle skiing, hockey, and snowboard, offering a diverse range of opportunities for Canadian athletes to compete for medals.

Alpine Skiing: St-Germain Leads Canadian Charge in Women’s Slalom

The women’s slalom will be the final alpine skiing event of the Games, commencing at 4:00 a.m. ET with the first run. Canada will be represented by a strong team including 2023 World champion Laurence St-Germain, alongside Ali Nullmeyer, Amelia Smart, and Kiki Alexander. The second run is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. ET, where the athletes will battle for podium positions.

Biathlon: Canadian Women Aim for Strong Finish in Relay

The Canadian women’s biathlon team will compete in the 4x6km relay at 8:45 a.m. ET. Pascale Paradis, Shilo Rousseau, Benita Peiffer, and Nadia Moser will represent Canada in this final biathlon event.

Cross-Country Skiing: Team Sprints Highlight Early Morning Competition

Cross-country skiing will feature team sprint events in free technique. The Canadian women’s team, comprised of Alison Mackie and Liliane Gagnon, will begin with a qualification round at 3:45 a.m. ET, aiming to secure a spot in the final at 5:45 a.m. ET. Both Canadian curling teams will face Italy on Wednesday. Team Jacobs (6-1) will take on Joel Retornaz’s Italian team at 8:05 a.m. ET, already having secured their playoff spot. Later, at 1:05 p.m. ET, Team Homan (4-3) will compete against Stefania Constantini’s Italian team, looking to solidify their own playoff chances.

Freestyle Skiing: Thénault Aims for Women’s Aerials Final

The women’s aerials competition, delayed from the previous day, will begin with the first qualification round at 4:00 a.m. ET. Team Canada will face Czechia in the men’s hockey quarterfinals at 10:40 a.m. ET. Canada previously defeated Czechia 5-0 in the group stage. Czechia advanced to the quarterfinals after defeating Denmark 3-2 on Tuesday.

Snowboard: McMorris and Blouin Lead Canadian Contingent in Slopestyle Finals

Wednesday will feature double finals in snowboard slopestyle, after the women’s event was postponed. The men’s final is set for 5:20 a.m. ET, with Mark McMorris and Cameron Spalding representing Canada. McMorris will be seeking his fourth Olympic medal in the event. The women’s final will follow at 8:30 a.m. ET, featuring Laurie Blouin and Juliette Pelchat. Blouin previously won a silver medal at PyeongChang 2018. In both events, athletes will perform three runs, with only their best score counting towards the final standings.

Speed Skating: Dubois and Team Canada Compete in Short Track Events

The men’s 500m short track event will see Steven Dubois, William Dandjinou, and Maxime Laoun compete in the quarterfinals at 2:15 p.m. ET, aiming to advance to the semifinals and ultimately the final at 3:32 p.m. ET. The Canadian women’s team will compete in the A final of the 3000m relay at 3:00 p.m. ET, with the starting lineup yet to be announced.
