The 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, officially commenced on Friday, February 6th, with a historic opening ceremony featuring the simultaneous lighting of two Olympic cauldrons – one in Milan and one in Cortina d’Ampezzo.
