Millie Bobby Brown has publicly defended her Stranger Things co-star David Harbour following reports of alleged bullying and harassment on the set of the Netflix series.
Speaking to Deadline at a recent press junket, Brown addressed concerns about her safety while working with Harbour. “Of course I felt safe,we’ve worked together for 10 years; I felt safe with everyone on that set,” she stated. She emphasized the close bond developed through their on-screen father-daughter dynamic and the intensity of their scenes,particularly in Season 2.
“But David and I have a grate relationship.We work realy closely together in the scenes and preparing for the scenes, and I’m really excited for everyone to see the labor of love and hard work we put into it and the closure of our relationship and what it looks like, and to give the fans – especially the Hopper and Eleven fans – those scenes I feel like will be quite impactful.”
Brown further highlighted Harbour’s dedication,saying his presence on the call sheet motivates her to deliver her best performance. “It makes me want to bring my A-game every single time I see that I’m on the call sheet with him because I know he’s bringing it right back.Definitely sometimes it’s a wake-up call.”
