Hololive Seeks Traditional Chinese Community Manager
Cover, the parent company of the VTuber girl group Hololive, is recruiting a community manager for its traditional Chinese market. The position offers an annual salary of 5 to 9 million yen (NT$1.1 million to nearly NT$2 million) and has attracted significant attention.
To increase its influence in the traditional Chinese market, Cover is seeking a community manager with professional marketing strategic vision and great skills that resonate with traditional Chinese audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and Implement Strategy: Design and implement a comprehensive social media strategy for the traditional Chinese market based on the global vision of “holistic production.”
- Content Management: Plan and manage high-quality, engaging social content (such as videos and other creative materials) that is relevant to local culture and engaging.
- Data Analysis and Research: Analyze social media data in detail, track effects, and understand audience behavior to adjust strategies and increase engagement and reach.
- Public Relations and Event Coordination: Lead public relations activities for international events and enhance Hololive Production’s brand image in the traditional Chinese market.
- Social Interaction: Build strong relationships with communities in the traditional Chinese market and develop strategies to increase engagement, loyalty, and advocacy.
Required Skills:
- Native-level traditional Chinese language proficiency
- Experience using Japanese to communicate in business scenarios
- Practical experience operating foreign SNS (regardless of industry)
- Traditional Chinese marketing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Sensitivity to new trends
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Practical experience in foreign corporate or local PR and promotion
- Work experience in the entertainment industry
- Understanding or interest in VTuber
Work Environment:
The working hours are flexible, with a break of 60 minutes in between, two days off a week plus national holidays and annual leave days, totaling 125 days. Holidays can be adjusted for work.
