Ke Wenzhe’s “People’s Hope Foundation” Embroiled in Controversy

People’s Party Chairman Ke Wenzhe has been arrested in connection with the Beijing City scandal. The People’s Hope Foundation, a consortium founded by Ke Wenzhe, has been accused of spending 26.77 million yuan in two years, with only four activities and an invoice for 100,000 yuan.

Yao Huizhen, a senior media person, has raised questions about the foundation’s finances, including the source of the 27 million yuan in donations and the destination of the 26.77 million yuan in expenses. Huizhen has also criticized the foundation for its lack of transparency and accountability.

The People’s Party has responded to the allegations, stating that the People’s Hope Foundation has nothing to do with the party organization and therefore cannot respond to the allegations. However, this response has been met with skepticism by many, who argue that the party’s lack of transparency and accountability is a major concern.

Yao Huizhen has called on the People’s Party and Li Wenzong to answer three questions: Who gave the people 27 million donations? Where did the cost of more than 26.77 million yuan go? And what happened to the 10 million yuan spent on administrative staff for two years?

The controversy surrounding Ke Wenzhe’s People’s Hope Foundation has raised serious concerns about the party’s finances and its commitment to transparency and accountability. As the investigation continues, it remains to be seen how the party will respond to these allegations and whether it will be able to restore public trust.
