Jakarta, Indonesia – A shocking double homicide in Lebak Bulus has left the community reeling, with many questions remaining unanswered. A 14-year-old boy, identified only as MAS, is suspected of killing his father and grandmother in the early hours of Saturday, November 30th.
The incident reportedly occurred around 1:00 AM, sending shockwaves through the neighborhood. MAS is also suspected of targeting his mother, but she managed to escape by jumping over a fence, despite sustaining injuries.She is currently in stable condition and receiving treatment at RS fatmawati in South Jakarta.On Sunday, December 1st, Minister of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection, Arifatul choiri Fauzi, visited MAS at the South Jakarta Police Headquarters. Following a private meeting, a visibly emotional Arifatul described MAS as a “good kid.”
“Yes, it’s definitely sad because (MAS) is a good kid,” Arifatul stated.
The motive behind the alleged killings remains unclear, and authorities are continuing their inquiry.
