FRISCO, Texas - Minjee Lee displayed unwavering resolve to capture the 2025 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Fields Ranch East. Despite a challenging start and sweltering heat, Lee finished at four-under par, securing a three-stroke victory and her third major title.
Lee, who began the final round with a four-shot lead, faced early adversity with bogeys on the 3rd, 5th, and 6th holes. Auston Kim’s three consecutive birdies narrowed the gap to two strokes. However, Lee remained composed, drawing on lessons learned from past experiences, including a disappointing final round at the 2024 U.S. Women’s Open.
“I just tried to be really simple out there,” lee said. “It was just so tough with the wind, so I just tried to take it one step at a time…I think I managed myself really well.”
