Maryam El Gendy, daughter of the late artist Mahmoud El Gendy, recently revealed in a television interview that artist and media personality Essad Younis saved her from death. The incident occurred when Maryam was a child and was convinced she could walk on water.
During an interview with Issad Younis on the “DMC” channel, Maryam recalled the incident and expressed her gratitude towards Essad. She stated that her mother and Essad were discussing something important, and she was walking by the swimming pool when she attempted to walk on water.

Maryam explained that Essad was the only one who noticed her attempt to walk on water and immediately saved her from drowning. She said, “You saved my life, father, uncle, Farooq al-Fishawi, my mother and you were talking about something important, and my mother loved you very much and paid a lot of attention to you.”

Maryam El Gendy is a young Egyptian actress who graduated from the American University in Cairo with a bachelor’s degree in multimedia journalism. She began her acting career on stage in the play ”Cinema Misr” and later appeared in the series “Balto”, which gained her wide fame.
