Lee Jin-ho’s Mother Diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer, But Already Cured
Comedian Lee Jin-ho has been under scrutiny for borrowing money from fellow celebrities and engaging in illegal internet gambling, using his mother’s illness as an excuse. However, it has been revealed that Lee Jin-ho’s mother was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and has been fighting the disease.
According to reports, Lee Jin-ho’s mother was already cured of cancer six months ago. Despite this, Lee Jin-ho’s debt from internet gambling from 2020 until recently is said to amount to 2.3 billion won.
Lee Jin-ho allegedly used the excuse that his mother was sick to borrow money from fellow celebrities, including comedian Lee Soo-geun. Lee Soo-geun, whose wife has been fighting a long-term illness, actively helped Lee Jin-ho, unaware of his gambling habits.

It was confirmed that Lee Soo-geun lent Lee Jin-ho 50 million won in the name of ‘mother’s hospital expenses,’ which Lee Jin-ho later repaid.
A scene from Channel A’s ‘Best Friends Tocumentary Table for 4’ broadcast last April, where Lee Jin-ho confessed his mother’s pain, is being reexamined. In the broadcast, Lee Jin-ho claimed that his mother was in the terminal stage of colon cancer and had undergone surgery and chemotherapy.
However, it has been revealed that Lee Jin-ho’s mother had already been cured of cancer at the time of the broadcast. Lee Jin-ho’s actions have raised questions about his integrity and the use of his mother’s illness as an excuse for his behavior.
