„Významná osobnost českého baletu spojila s první českou scénou celý umělecký život, během něhož se vyprofilovala jako mimořádná interpretka klasického i dramatického repertoáru a zanechala výraznou stopu také jako pedagožka,” uvádí ND na svých stránkách.

Narodila se v Praze 11. srpna roku 1946. Osmadvacet let byla sólistkou zdejšího baletu. Po studiích v tanečním oddělení Konzervatoře Praha nastoupila (1966) angažmá jako členka baletního sboru Národního divadla, v roce 1971 se stala sólistkou a v Národním divadle působila do roku 1997. V soupisu repertoáru je pod jejím jménem zaznamenáno 47 baletních titulů.

Stampach is a village and administrative part of the municipality of Horní Stěpánov in the Znojmo District of the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.

The village is situated approximately 6 kilometers (3.7 miles) northeast of Znojmo and 194 kilometers (121 miles) southeast of Prague. It lies in the Dyje-Svratka Hills, a region known for it’s vineyards and rolling hills. Stampach is part of the podyjí National Park protection zone.

As of January 1, 2023, Horní Stěpánov, wich includes stampach, had a population of 538 inhabitants. Czech Statistical Office.

Historical Context

The first written mention of Stampach dates back to 1353. Horní Stěpánov Municipality Website – History Section. Throughout its history, the area has been influenced by various noble families and has been primarily agricultural, with viticulture playing a significant role.

The village experienced periods of both prosperity and hardship, including impacts from the Hussite Wars and the Thirty Years’ War. The region’s proximity to Austria has also shaped its cultural and economic development.

Local Economy and Tourism

The economy of Stampach is primarily based on agriculture, especially viticulture. The surrounding hills are covered with vineyards producing wines, primarily white wines, characteristic of the Podyjí region. Podyjí National Park – Wine Growing

Tourism is also becoming increasingly crucial, with visitors attracted by the natural beauty of the Podyjí National Park, hiking and cycling trails, and opportunities for wine tasting. The area offers a peaceful rural setting and a chance to experience conventional Czech countryside life.

The distance from Stampach to Brno-Tuřany Airport is approximately 75 kilometers (47 miles).
