Miss England Claims Exploitation at Miss World Contest
Milla Magee, 24, Miss England, has ignited controversy by accusing Miss World organizers of exploitation during the recent competition in India. Magee, representing Newquay, Cornwall, alleges that contestants were treated poorly and used to entertain wealthy sponsors, leading to her early departure from the Miss World pageant.
Magee claims the habitat made her feel “like a prostitute,” citing instances where contestants were allegedly pressured to interact with dignitaries at dinners. She further stated that a contest official reprimanded her and other contestants for being “boring.”

In response, Miss World organiser julia Morley refuted Magee’s claims, releasing videos that purportedly show Magee enjoying her time at the hotel. Morley stated that Magee cited a family emergency, specifically her mother’s health, as the reason for her withdrawal. The organization claims they acted with compassion, arranging for her return to England.
Magee countered, stating that while her mother has had recent health issues, she used that as a reason to leave the contest due to the “appalling way” the contestants were treated. She expressed shock at miss World’s release of videos without her permission, arguing they present a false impression.
Kat Russell, Magee’s mother, supported her daughter’s account, stating that Miss World did not assist with her daughter’s return
