During her adolescence,Cannavó envisioned herself on stage. She trained at People’s Models International, the same academy that produced Miss Universe winners María Gabriela Isler (2013) and alicia Machado (1996). In 2017, she was crowned Queen of Casa Italia de Maracay. Tho, after finishing school, she pursued academic interests in Milan, italy, studying Fashion design & Accessories Womenswear at the Marangoni Institute, where she earned a bachelor of Fashion Design. While in Milan, she interned as a fashion editor for Falcon Magazine.
Cannavó believes her international experience has broadened her perspective and strengthened her desire to make a positive impact. She feels prepared for the Miss World competition, having spent five months training in areas such as runway walking, body expression, English, and global awareness. “I am working with the Gandhi Center and Fe y Alegría. I was working with the Enrique de Ossó school in Artigas. With these 56 5th grade children I was developing a program called ‘Living in peace’. My desire was to carry a message of essential values or comprehensive education that is not focused only on the mind but also on the heart. This for children to grow with these tools to face life,”

“From little girl my mother and many friends who said, ‘Oh, your girl is going to be Miss.’ I was very small, I would be about 5 years old. I wasn’t aware of those things.But at the time that she enrolled my first modeling school, which I remember was People’s Models, where María Gabriela Isler and Alicia machado also came out, it was when my passion began. From there I began to visualize someday as Miss Venezuela or participating.Then I went to study Italy and there I disconnected a little becuase my focus was already my career, the fashion design, but I have always been that desire there. When I graduated and still had no work link or something that stuck me, I took the possibility to apply and everything happened.”
