OROTINA, Costa Rica (AP) — A blood trail discovered inside the Orotina home of missing 32-year-old model Rashab Garcia has yielded new details in the ongoing investigation into his disappearance.

Michael Soto, deputy director of the Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ), provided further information regarding the discovery. According too Soto, the blood was found in multiple locations throughout the residence.
“There was blood by drip, an crucial amount, but not an amount that shows us something… as has happened in other cases… but blood by dripping from wich it was collected for analysis,”

Soto described the extent of the blood trail, indicating it spanned several rooms. ”The trail is all over the house…it is in the rooms, in the living room… on the entire side,” he said, suggesting the blood drops were consistent with someone moving through the house while injured.

Soto stated that search efforts would continue.”This Tuesday you will work at different points close to the area, with tracking equipment, always hoping that the two people appear alive, but we cannot rule out any possibility,” he said.
