Missing Woman Susan Lane-Fournier Found Dead; Husband Arrested for Murder

December 1, 2024 Catherine Williams - Chief Editor News

Officials have found the body of Susan Lane-Fournier and ruled her death a homicide. This discovery came less than a day after her husband, Michel Fournier, was arrested on allegations of second-degree murder. Michel, 71, was taken into custody after authorities located Susan’s body near East Highway 26 and East Miller Road in Clackamas County.

Susan, 61, and her two dogs were reported missing on November 22. A four-day search ensued in the Mount Hood National Forest after her truck was discovered in the area. Court records reveal that Susan filed for divorce from Michel weeks before her disappearance, although the divorce was not final.

As of now, Susan’s dogs are still missing. Officials urge anyone with information about her death to contact the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office Tip Line at 503-723-4949 or submit information online at www.clackamas.us/sheriff/tip, referencing case number 24-024698.
