Mississippi State Soccer Welcomes Talented Class of 2025 Recruits

Mississippi State Women’s Soccer Welcomes Class of 2025

Mississippi State Head Soccer Coach James Armstrong has announced the signing of eight talented players for the Class of 2025. This new group includes skilled offensive players, versatile midfielders, and strong defenders that will enhance the Bulldogs’ program.

  1. Tatum Borman (Midfielder/Forward – Georgetown, Kentucky)
    Borman is a prolific scorer from Lexington Sporting Club. She holds multiple records at Scott County High School and has been named All-State First Team twice. Borman has excelled in both the GA National Championship and Champions League, showcasing her ability as both a midfielder and forward.

  2. Jalen Chaney (Forward – Flower Mound, Texas)
    Chaney, a top forward from Sting Black ECNL, gained recognition at three ECNL National Showcases and earned All-State honors in Texas, plus multiple First Team All-District selections. Her explosive playing style promises to strengthen the Bulldogs’ offensive lineup.

  3. Lily Devereaux (Defender – Matthews, North Carolina)
    Devereaux is a solid center back from Charlotte Soccer Academy, known for her strong defensive skills and ability to play under pressure. Her presence in the backline will enhance MSU’s defensive capabilities.

  4. Graycen Ehlen (Goalkeeper – Marietta, Georgia)
    Ehlen is a multisport athlete with a strong track record as a goalkeeper at Southern Soccer Academy. Her leadership and shot-stopping skills will provide MSU with a dependable option in the net.

  5. Krossley Jones (Forward – Olive Branch, Mississippi)
    Jones, who plays for Tupelo FC and Germantown Legends, was selected for the 2024 South Region ODP Team. Her speed and scoring abilities will add depth to the Bulldogs’ attack.

  6. Lauren Maxson (Defender – West Chester, Pennsylvania)
    Maxson, a defender from Penn Fusion ECNL, has received MVP honors and multiple All-League selections. Her strength and experience will contribute to MSU’s defensive stability.

  7. Ella Peterson (Defender/Midfielder – Winter Park, Florida)
    Peterson is a dynamic player from Florida Krush, recognized for her agility and ability to create scoring chances. Her versatility will bolster the Bulldogs in various tactical situations.

  8. Adia Symmonds (Midfielder – Tampa, Florida)
    Symmonds brings extensive experience, having been named Player of the Match in the 2024 ECNL National Selection Game. Her playmaking skills and leadership will strengthen MSU’s midfield.
