NEW YORK – Brandon Nimmo had⁣ a record-tying performance monday, driving in nine runs as ‍the New York Mets crushed the Washington Nationals 19-5.

Nimmo’s nine RBIs equaled the Mets’ single-game ‍record,previously set by Carlos Delgado in 2008. he went 4-for-6, ⁤including ⁢a three-run home run in the sixth inning and a grand slam in the seventh.
