The move marked a significant shift in how Major League Soccer delivers its content to fans, eliminating the standalone MLS Season Pass subscription that had been in place since the partnership began in 2023. Starting with the 2026 season, all MLS matches — including regular-season games, the Leagues Cup, MLS All-Star Game, Campeones Cup, and Audi MLS Cup Playoffs — became available to stream for Apple TV subscribers at no extra cost.

No longer did fans have to purchase MLS Season Pass for the annual price of $100 to watch the league. Now, anyone with a standard Apple TV subscription could watch MLS at no additional cost.
