Mo’ Bettahs, a Utah-based fast food chain specializing in Hawaiian-style cuisine, has closed all of its restaurant locations within the Kansas City metropolitan area.
The company’s final day of operation in the region was April 10, 2026. Notices posted on the doors of at least two locations informed customers of the decision to cease operations in the area.

The chain entered the Kansas City market in 2022. Over the following four years, the company expanded its presence by opening multiple restaurants on both sides of the state line, including locations in Blue Springs, Lee’s Summit, Liberty, and Overland Park.
Mo’ Bettahs positioned itself as an alternative to Hawaiian Bros while serving authentic Hawaiian-style food. Following the closure, the company removed the Kansas City-area locations from its official website.
Continued Operations
Despite the complete exit from the Kansas City metro, Mo’ Bettahs continues to operate dozens of locations in other states. The chain maintains a presence in the following regions:
