Talat stated that the increase in recharge card prices will likely be about 15%. Some sources had suggested a 30% increase, but he denied this claim during a telephone interview on the “Under the Sun” program on Al-Shams channel.

Reason for Price Increase

The primary reason for the increase is the rising costs faced by companies. Talat explained that companies rely on petroleum products at their stations. He noted that the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority will oversee this price adjustment.
