Appcharge, a direct-to-consumer platform for mobile games, and appsflyer, a marketing measurement firm, are joining forces. The strategic partnership aims to provide mobile game developers wiht⁢ a unified solution for cross-platform mobile and web analytics and attribution.

The integration seeks ⁢to ⁣give developers greater insight into player behavior and ⁢purchasing patterns across both in-app and web store environments. Previously, mobile game publishers primarily tracked in-app purchases through AppsFlyer, which left web store transactions ‍unmeasured. This limited their ability to ⁤accurately gauge lifetime value (LTV) and optimize campaigns.

Now, AppsFlyer will attribute ⁤all purchases, whether mobile or web-based,⁢ to installs, user acquisition, and re-engagement campaigns. This provides a more complete‍ view of the customer journey and overall return on investment ‍(ROI).⁢ Appcharge implements server-to-server communication to send login and purchase events directly ⁤from the⁣ web store.

The data enriches the AppsFlyer dashboard by filling in⁢ previously missing touchpoints. this allows developers to access complete LTV and return on advertising spend (ROAS) data for ⁤both mobile and ‍web purchases, leading to more informed user acquisition⁣ decisions and better ⁢mobile game monetization.

“The games industry, and notably the mobile space, is constantly evolving to match the ‍everchanging needs and⁣ desires of players and⁣ their demands,” said Maor Sason, CEO of Appcharge. “We partnered with AppsFlyer because of their unparalleled expertise in marketing measurement and data analytics to help us ensure our mobile game developer partners stay connected with their communities and customers as they continue to explore new frontiers with webstores and in-game purchases.”

The integration also supports Appcharge’s Payment Links, which allow mobile developers to accept direct⁤ payments from iOS users through a secure web checkout. Campaign-based Payment Links can ⁣now be connected with attribution data, enabling developers to measure campaign performance, evaluate player engagement, and make data-driven decisions.

“It is essential for developers to understand the customer journey from start⁢ to finish so they ‍can identify areas of enhancement, optimize performance, and maximize revenue,” ⁢said Adam Smart, product director ‍of gaming at AppsFlyer.‍ “Appcharge’s expertise in mobile game monetization and⁣ their understanding of the demands of top-tier game studios in combination with ⁢AppsFlyer’s leading⁣ analytics capabilities will provide developers⁣ with the necessary insights to understand their audience and make smarter decisions‍ to create seamless gaming experiences.”

What’s next

The partnership between Appcharge ⁢and AppsFlyer is expected to evolve, with further integrations and features planned to address the changing needs of mobile game developers and their audiences.
