The Indian Super League (ISL) is expanding. Mohammedan Sporting Club (MSC), a historic Indian football club, will join the ISL for the 2024-25 season. This brings the total number of teams competing in India’s top football league to 13.
Mohammedan SC earned their spot in the ISL after a prosperous 2023-24 I-league campaign. Their first-place finish made them the second club, after Punjab FC, to be promoted to the ISL. The club’s addition promises to boost interest in the Indian football landscape.
