Mohan Sithara’s Shocking Admission: I Joined BJP Without a Clue – What Made Him Take the Leap of Faith
Mohan Sithara Clarifies His Stance on Joining BJP
Renowned music director Mohan Sithara has come forward to clarify his recent association with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Sithara stated that he joined the party without being aware of the gravity of the situation and only did so to avoid upsetting his friend who had approached him.
Sithara explained that a friend had called him a few days prior and asked him to sign up for the party. Not wanting to disappoint his friend and unaware of the seriousness of the matter, he agreed. The Thrissur district committee of the BJP had issued a press release on September 2, announcing Sithara’s membership, which was presented to him by BJP district president KK Anish Kumar.
Mohan Sithara’s Social Media Note
Sithara took to social media to express his thoughts on the matter, stating that he has friends in all political parties but cannot work with or for any of them due to his lack of knowledge about politics.
I have sincere friends in all political parties. However, I am not capable of working with or for any of them, as I know nothing about politics.
A friend called me a few days ago and asked me to sign up. Not wanting to upset them and not knowing the seriousness of the matter, I agreed. They came to my studio, put a shawl on me, and shook my hand. That’s what happened that day.
Most politicians attend cultural events where everyone is invited. As an artist, I also attend such events. I want to be part of the public in different politics. I humbly request my friends who congratulated me, my friends from other political parties, and the general public to understand my situation.
I am a quiet person who focuses on music and inclusivity. Please do not drag me into unnecessary discussions. I will not be able to elaborate on this matter further.
Sithara’s clarification aims to put an end to speculation surrounding his association with the BJP and reiterates his commitment to remaining apolitical.
