New York’s Museum of Modern Art recently hosted its annual Party in the Garden, a festivity that honored
outgoing director Glenn D. Lowry after 30 years of service. The exclusive event, known for attracting a mix of
philanthropists, artists, and celebrities, lived up to its reputation as one of the art world’s premier
soirées.
The dress code, “Festive,” inspired guests to don bright summer colors and modern prints. Attendees gathered in
the abby Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden for cocktails before a seated dinner in the lobby. Sarah Arison,
Marie-Josée Kravis, and Lowry shared remarks during the dinner.

Among the notable attendees were Tory Burch, who sponsored the 2025 Party in the Garden, and authors Sarah
Hoover and Colby Mugrabi. The list of artists included Doug Aitken, Glenn ligon, Mark Bradford, KAWS (Brian
