The Eastern Arizona College (EAC) menS basketball team resumed competition on January 2, embarking on a challenging three-game road trip against formidable opponents.
The Monsters faced Weatherford college in their first contest, battling competitively but ultimately falling with a final score of 66-73. EAC rebounded strongly at Ranger College, securing an 83-67 victory fueled by a balanced offensive attack and effective defensive strategies. The road trip concluded at McLennan Community College, were the team fought hard but were defeated 70-81.
All three games were played away from home, serving as preparation for the start of conference play.
Conference Play Begins at Home
Eastern Arizona College now shifts its focus to its conference opener, hosting Yavapai College at guitteau Gymnasium this Saturday, January 10. The doubleheader will begin with the women’s basketball game at 2 p.m., followed by the men’s basketball game at 4 p.m.
