Public health authorities in Montérégie issued an exposure warning after a confirmed measles case visited public venues in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield between September 17 and September 20. The infected individual spent time at several local establishments, including an event at the Hôtel MOCO and a late-night visit to the Dooly’s bar. According to the Direction de santé publique de la Montérégie, the patient visited the Dooly’s bar on the night of September 18 into September 19, remaining on the premises between 6 p.m. and 1 a.m. Health officials launched an active contact-tracing investigation to identify anyone who might have crossed paths with the contagious individual during the four-day exposure window.
