Canadian grand Prix Secures future in Montreal Through 2035

Montreal will remain a fixture on the Formula 1 calendar for another decade. The Canadian Grand Prix has extended its contract,ensuring the race will be held at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve through the 2035 season. This extension underscores the Canadian Grand prix’s significant role in Formula 1 and its economic impact on Montreal.
In a parallel move, the F1 Academy, the all-female racing series, also solidified its commitment to Montreal. The academy will continue to race at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve until 2028. This extension highlights the Octane Racing Group’s dedication to diversity and inclusion in motorsport.
The Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix, the oldest F1 event outside Europe, has been a cornerstone of the racing calendar as its inaugural race in 1967. The renewed commitment includes a long-term extension of Bell Media’s media rights deal.
