Morocco’s national team secured a resounding 4-1 victory over Gabon in an African Cup of Nations qualifier, showcasing their impressive skills and teamwork.
The highly anticipated match took place at the Adrar Stadium in Morocco, marking the first round of the African qualifiers.
Hakim Ziach led the charge for Morocco, scoring the first goal in the 9th minute and the second goal in the 26th minute. Ibrahim Diaz added to the tally with the third goal in the 59th minute, while Ayoub El Kaabi sealed the deal with the fourth goal in the 82nd minute.
Despite the loss, Gabon’s Ger-Emerick Aubameyang managed to score his team’s only goal in the 40th minute, providing a glimmer of hope for his side.
Morocco and Gabon are part of the second group in the African qualifiers, alongside Lesotho and Central Africa, setting the stage for an exciting competition.
