A Toyota Land Cruiser Prado exploded in teh courtyard of a residential building on Raduzhnaya Street in Moscow at ⁤approximately⁣ 9:40 a.m. local time on December 1, 2024. Witnesses‍ reported a ⁢powerful initial blast followed by subsequent explosions as ‍the vehicle became fully engulfed in flames. The⁢ shockwave⁢ from the⁢ explosion shattered windows ⁢on the third and fourth floors of a ‍neighboring apartment‍ building, scattering glass onto balconies and into apartments.

Emergency Response and Investigation

Firefighters from the Moscow Ministry of Emergency Situations extinguished the blaze within minutes of arrival. Authorities confirmed the vehicle was unoccupied at the time ⁤of the explosion and, thankfully, no injuries were reported. The Moscow Investigative⁣ Committee is currently examining the wreckage to determine the cause of⁢ the incident.
