Motorola Expands Android 15 Update List: 7 New Models Added

What You Need to Know About Motorola‘s Android 15 Update

• New Models Added: Motorola has included seven new devices in its Android 15 lineup. These models are:

  • Motorola Razr 50s
  • Motorola Razr 40s
  • Motorola Edge (2023)
  • Motorola Edge 40
  • Motorola Edge 40 Neo
  • Motorola Edge 30 Ultra
  • Motorola ThinkPhone 25

• Slow Update History: Motorola has a history of slow updates. This means users might face long waits for the Android 15 upgrade.

• Initial Rollout: In October, Motorola had 23 devices listed for the Android 15 update. The earlier list featured key models such as the Moto Razr+ (2024) and the Edge 30 Ultra.

Motorola is gradually expanding its Android 15 rollout. The company has not released an official timeline, which leaves uncertainty for users. Although more devices are now included in the update, the slow pace of past updates could affect how soon users receive the new operating system.

Currently, Android 15 is still being rolled out to specific devices, including those from Pixel and Vivo. Other brands like OnePlus are also receiving updates. As competition increases, Motorola may speed up its rollout process.

Stay tuned for more updates on whether your Motorola device will receive Android 15, and when you can expect to have it on your phone.
