Fibra MTY, which has primarily focused its portfolio on real estate​ for light manufacturing, is selectively diversifying its investment commitment in logistics facilities while reducing its investment in offices.Nearshoring has ‌promoted light manufacturing in recent ⁢months.

The investment in the logistics segment increases MercadoLibre’s presence as a major tenant. Recently, the ‍e-commerce company‌ announced its largest annual investment‍ in Mexico, valued at $3.4 ​billion, as⁣ it seeks ‌to⁣ grow in a market where it​ competes with companies like Amazon.
