ST. FLORIAN, Austria – Countertenor Alois Mühlbacher, a former soloist with the St. Florian Singing Boys,will join the spring String quartet for a performance titled “Counter & Strings – Best of” at the Sala terrana on Wednesday,May 7.
Mühlbacher, now recognized as a prominent young countertenor in Austria, is known for his genre-bending performances. The concert will feature a stylistically diverse program, blending baroque music with elements of folk song, pop, and rock. He has collaborated successfully with the Spring String Quartet on several previous cross-genre projects.
