Mundey Young Cast in British Horror Film ‘As Night Falls’

U.S. actor mundey Young is the latest addition to the cast of “As Night Falls,” a British horror film. He will star alongside Jack Parr (“Take Cover”) and Sophia Eleni (“Call the Midwife”). The production company, Nocturnal Pictures, has released an initial on-set image.
The supporting cast includes Aaron-Jon North (“The Nun II”), Fran McAteer, Dale Hayes, David Sayers, oliver Smiles, and Millie-Sue Hayward. Leroy Kincaide, known for the exorcist horror film “The Last Rite,” is the writer and director. Samuel Goldwyn Films acquired U.S. rights to “The Last rite,” which is currently streaming on Hulu.
Kincaide and Chloe Chudasama are producing the film for Nocturnal Pictures.Kincaide, a former professional wrestler, founded Nocturnal Pictures in 2014. “The Last Rite” marked his feature directorial debut after several short films and music videos.
“As Night Falls” plunges viewers into a dystopian nightmare. Five months after the world goes silent, Jane and Aidan struggle to survive in a broken-down transit van, hunted by interdimensional shadow entities drawn to sound. The film, a British horror film, wrapped principal photography after a 27-day shoot that began in December and is now in post-production.
Filming primarily occurred in Medway, Kent, U.K., notably at the historic Chatham Dockyards, a location previously used for “Call the Midwife,” “Sherlock Holmes,” and “Les Miserables.”
Kincaide said the goal was to create a gripping, atmospheric world that terrifies and engages the audience with compelling characters and suspense.
