Sheikh Zayed Public Prosecution Orders Detention of Two Persons for Murder

Investigation into the Murder of ⁤a Company ‌Employee

The Sheikh Zayed ‌Public Prosecution ‌has ordered the detention⁢ of two persons for⁤ 4 ⁤days pending investigation for the murder of an employee of a company abroad in the Sheikh Zayed area.

Major General​ Hani ​al-Sharawi, director of ​criminal⁤ investigations in Giza, quickly ⁤ordered a security force‍ to go to the reporting ⁢location to determine the full circumstances of the incident.

An inspection by Lt. Col. Islam Al ⁢Mahdawi, inspector of the Sheikh Zayed Division, revealed that ‌the body was that of an accountant in his late thirties – the son ‌of ‍a former ⁢ambassador – and that there were​ obvious signs of trauma ⁤- various⁢ stab wounds and‍ abrasions – on the body.⁣ Signs of‌ materials scattered throughout his apartment.

Lt. Col. Amr Mustafa, head ‌of investigation at the Sheikh Zayed First Division, visited the crime scene ‌and ‍listened to the statements of cameras around the house and examined his call logs to‌ find discrepancies with others.⁤ There may be a motive behind the murder.

Giza⁢ security services have formed a crime investigation team in coordination with⁤ the⁣ public safety field to examine the surveillance cameras installed around the property where the incident occurred, to uncover the circumstances of the⁤ crime, victims and those who during the commission of ⁢the crime in addition to‍ frequent property⁤ checks at the same time.

During the investigation, the ⁢deceased’s father said⁤ that ⁤his deceased son ⁤was working abroad for a month ​and ‍was alone on vacation.

The Public‍ Security Sector ⁢organized a massive security operation ⁢with the ‌participation of the Giza Security Directorate to ⁣identify and arrest the perpetrators‌ of the incident at their hideouts in Behera Governorate.

When⁤ the accused were confronted, they admitted that they alone committed the ‌incident ‍because of their knowledge ⁣of the victim’s residence, and that the burglary was ⁢in their minds, so they climbed onto the ⁣roof⁢ of the property ⁤where one of them​ lived and ‍managed to ⁣jump. And entering⁢ the​ balcony​ of his residence they shocked him ⁤with an‌ electric ⁢shock and hit him with a ⁤”knife”‌ and a machete⁤ which belonged to the ‍”victim”⁤ until his death⁤ and they‌ seized his belongings and ​his mobile phone⁣ – a car‌ which He had), and they disposed of the “knives and ⁢daggers” used in the incident.

One of the defendants admitted that (a person) “was ‌in possession of the seized phone.” They also directed him to the department’s impounded vehicle in a parking lot of a commercial​ center.
